Plan smarter
with TrekMind
Most trek planning tools are built for tourists. I built TrekMind because nothing else let me properly compare routes before committing — interactive 3D globe, 100+ routes, full itineraries, and elevation data for the world’s best trails.
Gear I trust on long routes

Left brain meets
right brain
I spent my early career designing Defenders and Range Rovers at Jaguar Land Rover — vehicles built for the point where the road stops. That engineering mentality is what I bring to the mountains.
But I also bring a sketchbook. Backpacker’s Mentality is a true field journal: mountain-tested route guides and engineer-reviewed gear analysis, alongside oil paintings, mixed-media collages, and photography from the trail. I’m also building TrekMind, an interactive database of 150+ global trekking routes.
Based in North Vancouver with my partner Roisin. Walked it, painted it, or built it. Everything else stays off the site.
