Steel House

Copenhagen, Denmark

I would describe this as a Luxury hostel, which is a change from the usual budget-conscious options. The dorms feature pods with comfy mattresses, plenty of plugs, and ample storage, while the bathrooms are plentiful and always clean.

Even though Scandinavia is famously expensive, the 2-4-1 Happy Hour is much welcomed, alongside an affordable and filling breakfast. But the facilities are what truly set this hostel apart. You’ll find arcade machines, shuffleboard, snooker, table football, and plenty of social space. Downstairs? A stage, a gym, and a swimming pool… yes, in a hostel!

I met lots of people near the bar and found it had a fantastic layout. I would 100% stay again and highly recommend Steel House as a basecamp in Copenhagen.
